BUYERS: You must have payment postmarked by 1 week after the auction ends. If you dont do this, you cannot return items. Once I send out your cards (Yes!! I'll have all the cards here and grade them myself!), you will have a two week period (from when I send out the cards) to return them (or to tell me you are returning them) if you wish to return them.

I hope that by grading the cards myself, people will know what to expect and wont want to return the cards. Also note that the majority of the cards in the auction will still be mine.

Autobuys are allowed. To autobuy a card, you need only to ask me about the lot(s) you are interested in.

SELLERS:

All Cards must be sent here and I will grade all the cards. Please send the cards (at least) certified. I will not be responsible for cards that dont arrive here.

ACCEPTABLE MATERIAL: You are welcome to create your own lots, but I do require the description of the lot to be one line long (if the cards are all for a specific person) and 1 1/2 lines long (if the cards are of different people) (I want the description to fit into my auction format) (I reserve the right to add "extra postage" to the lot if necessary or change what each lot consists of.) Please place lots together based on the following general categories :
Football
Baseball
Basketball
Hockey
(This is to help place the lots in the proper auctions)

Cards must be placed in sleves and toploaders (semirigid or hard plastic) Please remove all labels and stickers. No Trimmed, altered or inked cards will be accepted. I will grade all the cards consigned. A copy of my consignment form must be submitted by snail-mail with the lots

Unacceptable lots will be returned at the owners expense.

FEES:

The BASE FEE (Sellers only) is the greater of $2 or 15% of the first $40 bid on the lot, and 10% for the amount of the bid over $40. It is recommended that lots book sufficiently high -- if you can't get a $2 bid on the lot, it's not worth sending in.

Example: if you have a lot of 3 blue cards, and someone wins the bid at $10, you must pay a base fee of $2. ($2 is more than 15%)

Example: if you have a lot of 3 blue cards, and someone wins the bid at $30, you must pay a base fee of $4.50. ($2 is less than 15%)

Example: if you have a lot of 3 blue cards, and someone wins the bid at $70, you must pay a base fee of $9.00. ($2 is less than $6+$3)

There are 2 additional fees:

1. For lots with multiple cards (not sets) there is an additional .10 per card in that lot. (So if you have a lot of 6 cards, there would be an additional .60 fee, and if you sold these cards for $130, you would be charged $6.60 ($6 max base fee +.60 additional fee).

2. For sets the minimum fee becomes $3 +$1 for each additional set. (If you consign 5 sets, you must pay a minimum $7 fee ($3+$4). (There is no maximum fee)

The BUY BACK FEE is the sellers fee plus postage (if you want me to just re-auction the lot, you have to pay the sellers fee) Winning the bid on your own lot is considered a buy back!

Example: if you have a lot of 3 blue cards, and you try upping the bid to $30, but no one overbids it, you must pay the $1 selling fee PLUS the $2 postage to get your card back. If you didnt want it back, and only want me to re-auction it, your fee would be $1.

Example: if you have a 2 lots of cards of Emmitt Smith and you up the bid to $100 but no one overbids it, you must pay the $10 selling fee PLUS the $2 postage to get your card back. If you dont want the card back, but only want me to re-auction it, your fee would be $10.

Example: if you have a lot of 2000 Topps card, I will probably put extra postage on the lot. So if you win the bid at $30, you will have to pay the $1 selling fee PLUS the $2 postage (normal postage) PLUS the extra postage I put on the lot.

Dont forget: Winning the bid on your own lot is considered a buy back!

PAYMENT

All consignments will now become auction credits. You can clear out your auction credit at any time, and have a check sent to you for a $1 check fee.

BIDDING ON YOUR OWN LOTS

You may bid on your own lot at any time, with a MAXIMUM OF 2 BIDS per lot. However, I would recommend only making 1 bid on your lot at the beginning of the auction (that is, if you want a minimum bid on the lot) Remember, if you win the lot, I consider it a buy back, so make your bids on your own lots low enough for people to bid over you!

If you definitely want your lot back, anytime before it is sold, (if you are not already winning the lot), you can have me mark it as an autobuy with a selling fee based on the book value of the lot (no matter what the bid is).

PAYMENT FOR LOTS SOLD

Due to the way I'm going to be handling payment for the auction, payment to consignees will occur within 2 months after the auction ends. If the bidder fails to pay for their winnings (as in.. Your consignment) I will put the lot into another auction.

SCHEDULING

I'll put lots in auctions as soon as I can, usually the next auction. Auctions in the major sports are started (in general) once per week.

RE-AUCTIONING

I will re-auction lots only in the following cases:
1. they are not paid for
2. they are returned
3. the seller buys back the card, and then chooses to re-auction it. (the sellers fee must be paid before re-auctioning.)

If I end up having too many lots, cards will only be re-auctioned 2 times (so the lots will be in at least 3 auctions)
